Re: Genotype-Guided Antidepressant Prescribing for Patients With Depression: A Randomized Clinical Trial 5/6/26

“…genotype-guided prescribing of SSRIs…was associated with higher depression remission rates at 6 months.”

This was reported on 5/5/26 in the context of USAF exome sequencing, the VA’s Million Veteran Program and MilSeq’s “Precision Medicine” as Genotype-Guided Antidepressants Could Have Long-Term Benefits

My PGx test samples submitted the day before Nicholas Crews was murdered at the Jasper GA VA outpatient clinic were linked to “Precision Medicine,” but they led to VA’s claims of my “disruptive behavior” for attempts to tell others about the availability of Genotype-Guided Antidepressant Prescribing from Baylor Genetics.

Results indicated I should not be prescribed most SSRIs and most opioid-based pain medications. I was not surprised to see the results reported yesterday and today that link PGx testing from differences in SSRIs to higher depression repression, especially in the context of failed pain management reported as Neuropathic Pain: Mapping the miRNA Landscape 4/6/26 and Identification of susceptibility modules and genes through WGCNA and ceRNA network analysis in neuropathic pain-induced anxiodepression 4/23/26.

On 5/5/26, I was turned away from the Blairsville VA outpatient clinic by Stephanie Nichols, who claimed I could no longer see a nurse on an unscheduled walk-in visit, unless I went to the Atlanta location (100 miles away) due to my “disruptive behavior.”

I wanted to discuss additional PGx testing results and help resolve my medication errors by having the results scanned into my record as was done before.

I’ve since learned from other veterans that the “disruptive behavior” claim is commonly used to deny care, and force veterans to fight even harder for effective treatments, despite the availability of testing from Baylor Genetics.

See: Baylor Genetics Launches Pharmacogenomic and Germline Genetic Testing for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs 11/10/25

It seems that the VA exists in a state of denial after apparently having contributed to the suicides and murders via medication errors, despite the availability of testing to potentially prevent suicides and murders.
