miRNA facts vs fiction & theories (1)

After publication of the “Hometown Hero” article about my lifelong advocacy for testing linked to healthy longevity via protection from viruses, and the Secretary of War’s advocacy for testosterone testing (on the same day) I was encouraged to complete the 10-part series miRNA facts and friction (10) on 7/29/26

For comparison to the facts, on 7/29/26 Science stories page wrote:

On 7/29/26 Afshine Emrani wrote:

“This morning Anthony Fauci was subpoenaed before the Senate — and hid behind the Fifth Amendment. Over and over. “On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer.”

Remember that the next time someone calls him a hero.

This is the man who testified before Congress dozens of times when he controlled the story. Who lectured a nation from the podium. Who told you to shut your business, cancel your mother’s funeral, keep your kids out of school, and trust him — on his authority, without question.

Total compliance from 330 million people. That was the demand.

And the second the diaries came out — the second his private numbers, his agency’s funding of the Wuhan lab, and the origin questions were finally put to him under oath — the great truth-teller had nothing to say.

Not a denial. Not an explanation. Silence.

Let me be clear about one thing so no one can twist it: pleading the Fifth is a legal right, and it is not, by itself, courtroom proof of guilt. Fine. I’ll grant him the letter of the law.

But we don’t have to pretend we’re stupid.

Innocent men explain. Innocent men, especially proud ones who spent years insisting they did everything right, do not need a lawyer’s hand over their mouth the moment the questions get real. When you have nothing to hide, you talk. When you’ve built your entire legacy on being the fearless voice of science, and you go mute the instant you’re the one in the chair — the country is allowed to draw the obvious human conclusion, even if a court can’t.

He didn’t protect science today. He protected himself.

And I want to name what this arrogance actually cost — because I’m the one holding the invoice.

The wreckage of these years was never only the dead. It was the trust. And I pay that debt down every single week in my exam room. The man who won’t take the statin that would save his life, because “they lied to us about everything.” The woman who refuses the scan. The parents who won’t believe a single word any doctor says now — because they were told to trust the science by a man who, when it finally counted, wouldn’t even answer for it.

That is what his silence did. Not to his reputation — to mine. To every honest physician who now has to earn back, one frightened patient at a time, the credibility he torched with his certainty and then abandoned with his silence.

He demanded your total transparency. He offered you none.

He demanded your blind trust. He returned contempt.

And when the moment came to look the American people in the eye and answer for the funding, the diaries, and the origins of the thing that killed over a million of us — he lawyered up and looked at the floor.

Pardoned. Protected. And now, silent.

I don’t want a mob. I want the one thing he refused to give: the whole truth, under oath, in the light. If he’s innocent, let him prove it out loud, the way he demanded everyone else prove their loyalty to him.

But a man with clean hands doesn’t need them tied behind his back.

The silence this morning told you everything the press conferences spent five years trying to hide.“
